About Crawl Care Charlotte
An independent referral service for crawl space work in the Charlotte area. We are not a contractor. We find homeowners who need a dry crawl space and connect each one with a single licensed local company that can do it well.
What we are
Crawl Care Charlotte is a website, a phone number and a set of honest guides. It is not owned by a crawl space contractor. It was started in 2026 to do one thing well: help Charlotte homeowners understand a wet crawl space and get a fair, written quote from someone local who can fix it.
We do not inspect, quote or perform any work. When you send a request, we pass it to one licensed crawl space company that serves your town. They call you, inspect the space, and give you a written quote. You decide what happens next.
What we are not
- Not a contractor. No crew, no trucks, no warehouse.
- Not a lead marketplace. Your request goes to one company, not five.
- Not a Google Business Profile with a made-up office. We are a service area business run online.
- Not a review site. There are no reviews here yet because we have not earned any. When real ones exist, they will be real.
How we choose partner companies
Before we send a single request to a company, we check four things.
- North Carolina license. Active and in the company's name on the state licensing board.
- Insurance. A current certificate of general liability insurance.
- Track record. Real reviews across Google and other sites, and how they handled the bad ones.
- Moisture first. They quote drainage and moisture control before liners and foam. Nobody gets a liner laid over standing water.
We then send the first few requests for free and check in with the homeowner afterward. Did the company call? Did they show up? Was the quote itemized? If any of those fail, the company stops getting requests.
What happens to your information
Your name, phone number, ZIP code and what you told us about the problem go to one partner company. We keep a copy so we can follow up and check the company did what they said. We do not sell your details to lead lists or data brokers. The full privacy policy spells it out.
How we make money
Partner companies pay us for qualified requests, or a flat monthly fee for a service area. Homeowners never pay us anything. This does not change the price you are quoted, and the terms of service say so in writing.
